Governing Body
The role of the Local Governing Body (LGB) is to act as a ‘critical friend’ to the school: to support, to challenge, to ask questions, and ultimately, to ensure that pupils receive the best possible education. The Local Governing Body works in close partnership with the Headteacher, staff, Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust and the local authority. The headteacher is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school, while the governing body oversees strategic decisions.
