Our aim at All Saints Junior School is for every child to Believe in their own abilities and those around them, to Grow and develop continually and to Achieve the very best they can. 

Our Vision:   

At All Saints Junior School, we believe that all our children are special, set apart for God’s special purpose.  Our promise is that our school will be a place where children know they are loved, nurtured and where they will learn to live well. Fundamental to this is our belief that all children should be enabled to fulfil their whole potential, not just academically, but also creatively, morally, physically and spiritually. 

We achieve this through our ambitious and engaging curriculum and nurturing approach to all. At All Saints Junior School, we are kind and caring and every child is known and loved as an individual. When children leave the school, they will be equipped to be independent, lifelong learners ready to face the challenges of an ever-changing world. 

Through the establishment of a safe, calm and respectful learning environment our pupils will develop a social and emotional maturity to enable them to be wise, compassionate and environmentally responsible citizens in today’s multi-faith modern Britain.

As a Church of England school, Christian stories - as well as those of other faiths and traditions - are commonly used to expand on our core values and give a rhythm to the school year. The phases of our school undertake celebratory services attached to the Christian and academic calendars and these tend to be held at All Saints church:

• Year 3 - Christmas (December) 
• Year 4 - Easter (March/April)
• Year 5- St Peter & St Paul (June)
• Year 6 - Celebration of our Leavers and their transition to Secondary School (July)

We also value, respect and study the traditions, stories and teachings of other religions and cultures, particularly, but not exclusively in RE lessons, and actively seek out and promote commonalities and mutual understanding. Visits encompassing a variety of faiths and cultures are commonplace as part of us delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, and it is anticipated that all pupils engage with such experiences as a means of building understanding and respect between communities.

Promoting Fundamental British Values

At All Saints we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds with mutual respect and acceptance, to understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its laws.
